Gitchell Farrier Service

Interest in horses started at an early age. I have great memories gathering and working cattle horseback on the J.W. Koonce Farm in Lauderdale County. I attended Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School in 1997, and built my part-time Farrier business up to 200 customers when my wife took a job in Nashville. While there I was Farrier for many prestigeous barns such as Paddock Place in Mount Juliet and Sabrina Oaks in Gallatin. Job duties have called my wife back to West Tennessee where I will build my business by providing quality Farrier services. I have worked on most breeds but prefer not to do drafts. I have been the Farrier for Mule Day in Columbia in 2007 and 2008. I have also attended Scott Morison's seminar on Laminitis. I have done intense studying on Dr. Doug Butlers Principle's of Horseshoeing P3, Dr. Butler's Shoeing In Your Right Mind, and Better Basics Horseshoeing by Chris Gregory.
